Lidiana Arrè
Lidiana Arrè, classe 1996, è un ingegnere strutturista. Ha avviato il suo percorso accademico in
Ingegneria Civile e Ambientale al Politecnico di Bari, per poi proseguire presso l’Università di
Bologna, dove ha frequentato il corso internazionale in Civil Engineering. Nel 2022 ha conseguito
la laurea con una tesi incentrata sulla stampa 3D metallica e le sue potenzialità nel settore delle
costruzioni, progetto sviluppato in parte presso l’università TU Braunschweig in Germania. Sta
attualmente proseguendo questo filone di ricerca nell’ambito di un dottorato presso l’Università di
Bologna, con un focus su innovazione tecnologica ed economia circolare. All’interno di questo
percorso, ha trascorso un periodo alla Cranfield University, nel Regno Unito, dove ha approfondito
in particolare le implicazioni ambientali legate alle tecnologie studiate. La cultura, in particolare la pittura e l’architettura, è per lei una fonte di ispirazione che arricchisce il suo approccio alla ricerca e all’ingegneria. Dal 2023 è socia AIGU, dove dal 2024 ricopre il ruolo di co-rappresentante regionale per l’Emilia-Romagna.
Lidiana Arrè, born in 1996, is a structural engineer with a strong interest in technological innovation
and sustainable development. She began her academic journey in Civil and Environmental
Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bari. She later continued her studies with an
international Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Bologna, where she
graduated in 2022. Her thesis focused on metal 3D printing and its potential applications in the
construction industry, a project partially developed at TU Braunschweig in Germany. She is
currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Bologna, where she continues to explore these topics,
with a focus on technological innovation and the circular economy. She also carried out part of her
doctoral research at Cranfield University in the UK, deepening the sustainability aspects of her
work. Passionate about culture, especially painting and architecture, she draws continuous inspiration
from the arts, enriching her perspective on engineering and research. She has been a member of AIGU since 2023 and, in 2024, took on the role of co-regional representative for Emilia-Romagna.
